About Us

Rocco jewellery was established in 2012 by British Greek designer Evthokia Veliotou.
In 2000 Eva completed a B-TEC National Diploma followed by a BA(HONS) in Art & Design at Central Saint Martins London. With an emphasis on artefactual design Eva produced a range of emotive ceramic dinnerware decorated with fetishistic bite and lick marks.

After her degree show in 2004 Eva was offered an internship at the University’s Innovation Centre but went on to produce her collection of ceramic tableware collaborating with family-run pottery, Walpole China in Stoke-on-Trent and in 2005 establishing her homewares brand Evthokia Ltd.
In 2007 Eva launched her collections at Top Drawer London and was awarded Gift of the Year by the GA Association. in 2009 Evas collections were spotted on Notonthehighstreet by Wolf & Badger London and sold at their NottingHill flagship store which led to an exclusive residency at Selfridges London.

In 2010 Eva was head hunted by U.K. Trade & Investment to represent the best of British design at Milan’s Homeware show where her collections made prime time News channel RAE5 and were launched onto the restaurant scene.

In 2010 Eva began a collaboration with MArt Gallery in Athens showcasing her wares at their gallery in Athens subsequently leading to Eva’s designs featuring on the front cover of Vogue Hellas as Designers to Watch. Back in the U.K. Eva showcased her designs at the Hospitality show NEC and the London Design Centre leading to a successful launch on the restaurant scene in the U.K.Following a successful period of work in ceramics in 2012 Eva began experimenting with precious metals working alongside master goldsmiths in Hatton garden whilst completing intensive training at the London jewellery school and taking part in small scale craft fairs just as a hobby. However the jewellery received such an overwhelming reception that Eva began selling her designs at larger design fairs leading to the birth of Rocco Jewellery in 2012.

In 2016 Eva met and became business partner and good friends with designer and craft event organiser Nicky French. They established a gift shop in the heart of Kingston-Upon-Thames providing a platform for over 40 independent businesses to sell British-made, quality products.
In 2021 Eva was awarded Designer of the Year in the Betts Jewellery Awards.
Eva continues to produce her Jewellery collections, undertake special commissions and offer repair services from her studio shop in Surbiton, Surrey and workshop in Hatton Garden London.
